Specific Knowledge/Skills Proficient in C/C++ programming, Java experience will be a plus; Strong OOAD skills with MVC and GOF design patterns; In-depth understanding and experience with SVG programming; Solid understating of scripting/dynamic languages, preferably JavaScript, such as Python, Ruby, etc. Familiar with XML and associated technologies (CSS, Schema, DOM). Solid understanding of software fundamentals, including multithreading, remote procedure calls, memory management, and compilation/optimization. Connected to the development community through forums, blogs, user groups, etc. Good programming/software engineering awareness and enjoy technical challenges; Strong debugging skills and problem solving capability. Good written and oral English skills; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good team spirit and adaptability; Knowledge of Ajax, XAML, Flash, and other Rich Internet Application development are a plus.
